ah,notim ya got me by the ****$ im berween yngwie and paul.
yngwie because he gave birth to shredding.
paul because he the coolest and most humble shredder.
but.....
satch influenced me alot with his whammy bar technique and tasteful wah use.
steve vai by far is the most creative and soulful.shredder.
and john pettrucci just looks and plays like jesus.so idk.
but you forgot mab and shawn lane.

I like Steve Vai the best, but they're all really good.
I dont think Michael angelo Batio makes good songs as far as melodically, but he is good, and I like the double guitar. Im not so familiar with Shawn Lane because he died soo early, but ill look on youtube and try to find a good video of him. |

matt look up gray pianos flying.great tune.and i think mab is melodic, not in a pop music sense, but his music is really complicated and takes a trained ear to appreciate. |

Gilbert is my favourite. I just love his playing. And he is really creative (get out of my yard, etc.) |

I'm going with Malmsteen. I know he's arrogant and he steels licks from the classics but he’s one of the first neoclassical shredders. The others are great but they just bore me. |
