get into jazz

hey guys i really want to get into jazz music....anywhere you guys recommend i start listening....i want to start cuase i love that jazz influence on radiohead's kid a

I like jango.com. you can really find alot there.

Sonny Sharrock Ask the Ages is a good rock to jazz into. I like it cause it's hard and soft.

There is not a lot of stuff on you tube from this great album.

Miles Davis - Kinda Blue

This is just one song from the album Kinda Blue. If you get it and listen to the whole thing you will be hooked into Miles and jazz.

I dun know if this helps a thing, but sure worth to listen :)

Ive never tried. I can't go there. This stuff just moves you man, takes you on a journey.

Here are some good starter jazz stuff.....(imo)

As far as jazz guitarists go, you can't go wrong with Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, Charlie Hunter or Pat Metheny (have a listen to his album with Brad Mehldau, it'll knock your socks off!)
