What do you think should I get, I mean what's better the Cort G200 or Squier Strat?

Thats the G200 http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/reviews/electric_guitars/cort/g200/index.html

The Squier I'm gonna get is Metallic Blue 'cause that's the only color that's left, is the color ga*? The Cort costs $220 USD and the Squier $280 USD.

Yeah, the squier will give you less problems, and the Fat Strat Model Can give you some nice metal tones with the proper set up,But also try looking other options at the Price Range,Like the Ibanez GIO Pack or the Yamaha Pacifica One

I am not a big fan of the lower end Strat models. I have a mexi made strat and do not like it at all. The pickups lack a lot. I would have to dump another ~$400 in it to get it to sound nice... and at that price i should of just bought an american made strat.

If you are just looking to play, buy the strat. It's easier to find parts for >.

hey man, I own a blue Squier Strat, great guitar for the money. And JustJeff is right, very popular guitar style, which means its easy to find parts to upgrade it. you should check out guitar-fetish.com for an idea of parts for, mainly, strat style guitars.

I wanna get a Squier so I could play something other than metal. I just wanted a cheap guitar with three single-coil pickups.

Guess what I bought the Squier for 220USD, but it so feels like a toy, for real!
The sound isn't bad(but you can't play metal with that thing don't even try), it's easy to play.
I don't recommend beginners to get a Squier. An acoustic guitar would be the best for learning how to play. I had a friend that kept telling me to get a "Square" guitar, and now I got what he meant!

You can easily play metal on a squire, hell I do play metal more on my Squire then my Les Paul.
I agree with the acoustic but probably for different reasons, I found it's better to start on as it builds up finger and wrist muscles quicker, gets your hand use to stretching and builds better calusses (SP?).

Ya i think you're Nutter, when i tried it at the store the distortion sounded really bad, but when I tried it now with metalmaster and zone it wasn't bad but still it's a far from other metal guitar like Jackson and bc rich. I still can't believe you play metal more on your squier than your les paul. aw you can play some thrash metal on the squier or some heavy but it wont work well for death metal and metalcore..
