Hey everyone. Looking for an Ibanez with a floyd rose and 2 humbuckers. I am interested in good quality and sound so I figure 500 bucks should get me there. I listen to alot of Satch and vai among other popular bands, Metallica ect. Any hepl would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, an RG or an S series would definitely be the best choice for you.

Oh I'm sure EMB could recommend where to shove a good Ibanez lol. Jokin' buddy. I liked the RG370 personally. I think it's either really white or black idk. (Note - I wasn't being racist guys, just describing the finish lol]. For you though, I'd HIGHLY consider getting something without a Floyd. Take it from a guy who has to put up with every nagging detail of one. They're great and all, but a LOT of work to keep tip-top specs compared to a guitar with no trem, or even a standard Strat style trem.

haha yeah Floyds and most trems are a bich to maintain but if you can't do without divebombs and other great ear candy then just get a fixed bridge, especially if you downtune your guitar.

Yeah but Ibanez (RG)is the standard metal guitar for your money these days, I'm not a fan but they're good guitars.

They're kind of like Mustangs, everyone's got one and they're cheap, but they get the job done.

They're awsome too man. I just grew up watching the Dukes Of Hazzard so Chargers were kind of ingrained in me lol.

Chevelle! haha, not the band the car.
I personally like the RG that I played, it was the one with the reversed headstock, no idea what model as I just grabbed it because I needed to play through an amp at guitar center, played pretty well though.
