Hi, im struggling with that frigging B7... I hate it, I never get it to change fast enough on acoustic. Is there any replacement chord that I could use instead of H that sound near which is more kind to my clumsy fingers >_<
Thanks in advance

Yeah, im currently training Cancion Del Mariachi by Los Lobos and that comes after Em, so its easy change I know, but I just cant get it right on time on acoustic :( well didnt practised it very long thou, just played it a while and it started to go better, but there is still problems of that.
I tried to left my little finger off that I used only 3 fingers on 5th, 4th and 3rd and it went little better and sounded quite right. UMm, maybe I just need to practise xD... some things never change ^^ |

You could bar it at the 7th position like so:
E:-7- or play it like this:---E:-x
B:-7----------------------------B:-0
G:-8----------------------------G:-2
D:-7----------------------------D:-1
A:-9----------------------------A:-2
E:-7----------------------------E:-x

Woot, thanks! Used chord tool many times before, but just never paying attention those variations icons... ^_^ Kicks boost up!
I looked at them and 5th and 8th variation looks little easier.
Goin to try them later in the evening

Aye, bar chords are not too hard for me, but I have little doubts if it fit good bcause others are open chords, but anyway... worth to try it out too... |

I'm not sure but I think the original or first position contains open strings. I can play that one but I also play the root 5 B7 on the second fret. Its like one string away from a minor.
E 2
B 4
G 2
D 4
A 2
E X |

Well, I still encourage you to keep playing it the way you are playing it. Swap between the previous chord to that over and over again until you get it right on time. Also to hold that chord postion and play it for about 5 minutes straight and this should help get your fingers used to the chord positions. |

Yeah ive practised it with B7 and in 5th variation, because others just didnt sound right... been playing it a while now and it goes well better than before. Now I practise with singing.

Try F7. thats a good sub. chord for B7 if it's easier to play for you. |
