yep, maybe a bit emo, but much depends on the melody, it wont sound emo with a non soundin emo sound...
anyway, when u write lyrics, how do you think of them, as rimes, or as a melody already?

first i think of melodies i'd like to do.(in my head or sometimes in class.) then i think of the rymes and it sort of fits together like a puzzle. but its tough to keep it on subject to the song that way sometimes.

emo would mean you're talking about cutting yourself and your girl breaking up with you. This isn't emo.

Good lyrics though there are some spelling errors: '3D' and 'loo' is how they should be spelt.

The part where you're talking about a tomb feels like you put it there only because you ran out of rhyme. Other than that, it's pretty good.

Emo is not just "dear diary....mood? apathetic..." kind of crap. Emo is more of a state of mind.

It sounds nothing like emo, I think it sounds happy and determinedto simply have the peace of the good things in life. I love the scheme as well, you're one of the best writers I've ever met.

emo is depressed cuz u want to be, emo is being upset just so you can write songs about it. emo is foolishness. there are ppl who are depressed enough to cut themselves, but emos do it for the sake of it

Although, I have to say, I've a theory that 'emos' are just chavs. They just don't like to admit it so they create a younger just as stupid label and only wear stripy cloths, listen to 'emo' music and cut them selves. That's about all those I know, they noticed they were just turning into a common chav and panicked! Seriously, whenever I ask those guys "What's the difference between how you and the chavs you hate so much and used to be act?" they reply (not a swear, but it's a word I hate)"*******, it's obvious, I have no tracksuit, I cut myself and hate RMB." Then I point out they liked it, then they reply "Shut up you ****." Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but ALL of them have said that and similar to me!

@patleh, I guess it's someone's point of view,there are always many groups of people who think a song has a diferent touch just because of the lyrics. Many of us disagree that it's emo, but just as many will think it just is emo. Don't let the fact that some see it that way pull you back, it's just th way we are. It's not found by me or other opinions a like as emo so jus accept it isn't by that and go a head if you really like it.
