Ok, so I was walking around at NAMM in LA. Assuming you all know what NAMM is, I started playing around with the bongos. I look to the side of me and I see this bald dude, looking at a keyboard. I started to play some Rythyms on the bongos and he started to Jam along. After looking up, I realized that a huge crowd had gathered around. I go over to the bald man and go "Hey, I'm Alex" and he states "Hey, Im Jordan Rudess"
My mouth literally dropped. He goes "Can I have your card?" and I give him my card and he gives me his. He walks away saying "I'll give you a call"

And he did. We talked about the music buisness and Theory and all of that and I ended up meeting the rest of dream theater(PETRUCCI!!!). And That is my great story

Ok

1) It's held in January, not November.

2) It's only open to members of the music trade.

A love story it is. Do Tell some more, gramps.

BTW:
I was in 'Nam [I assume you all know what that is] and I was severly wounded, you know, my spine was literally sticking out of my left shoulder, but still I was still shooting them Commies. Then all of a sudded this guy comes up and says, "Hey, I'm John McCain, can I have your card?" So I gave him my card and he called me, and we talked about the business and abortion [Palin!!!] and stuff.
This is the end of my great story.

OH MY GOD. Jordan Rudess is one of my greatest inspirations on Piano, oh my god! haha You're so lucky, congratulations man. You deserved it.

Will you meet with him again?

And by card, do you guys mean to tell me that you actually have a business card with your name and number on it?

As a matter of fact, this is was a while ago. For my 16th birthday my dad decided to take me to NAMM, and yes he owns a buisness. And I always carry a card with my information on it for no apparent reason.

Heres the buisness:

www.frondelli.com

He builds vintage-style drum kits.

Dream Theater are like really really good players including Rudess, and i would really like to meet them, but their vocals James LaBrie, their music style, and their lyrics really do suck.
