idk if this is already a forum but what are u guys fav bands. i mean overall not like i like 3 of ther songs, like what are ur overall fav bands tht u can listen 2 theyr whole album and luve every song.
mine are:
1)boston-theyr debute album boston in 1976 is theyr best. they were facking geinusses 2, all went 2 mit. hell of a band
2)lynyrd skynyrd-w/e album they used for theyr 1970 somthing concert in winterland check it on youtube, look up lynyrd skynyrd in winterland, its the 1 with not the best quality, black and white, any song it ok.
3)led zepp-mothership album, some gr8 songs on tht still dont like a few
4)pink floyd-dark side of the moon album, gr8 album almost as good as zepp
5)rolling stones, although ac/dc is a close 6th, a minus because i didnt like brian as a singer.

i like all those artists, but i wouldnt say theyre my favorites. boston was amazing though.

id have to say my favorite band is blind melon, but any one else after that, theres to many bands that are close seconds.

ive been getting into a lot of Kyuss, Tool, 311, and Opeth lately.

I dont really have a favorite because I listen to diffrent bands for diffrent reasons and I very rarely listin to the radio.Kinda hard to say.

My favorite band has been my favorite since I started leastening to music... Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Hard to say.. There's not really a skynyrd song that I don't like. Of course you have your more common songs, Gimme Three Steps, Simple Man, Sweet Home Alabama, but they put out a song called Mr. Banker that I really like. It's got sort of a blues sound to it. It's not really a popular song of theirs but I have always liked it... And I'm sure everyone will agree you've gotta love the Free Bird solo.

simple man is an awesome song...Shinedown did a really good cover of that song too.

I played around on a guitar about ten years ago, (didn't get to far) but the intro to simple man was the only thing I learned how to play. I was only about 16 or 17 back then, had alot of other things on my mind. But I'm doing alot better this time around.

I can agree on that guitarslinger. Favorite Bands are: 1.Fastball 2.Megadeth 3.Santana 4.Iron maiden 5.Soundgarden 6.Pink Floyd 7.Bob Dylan. 8.Alice in chains 9.Led Zep. Bands that have good songs but bad albums are: Metallica, Pantera, Children of bodom and nirvana. Only my opinion.

forgot about metallica, megadeth, santana. i dont like bob dylan but i admit hes got talent.

my fav skynyrd song is simple man or tuesdays gone very close, then a close 3rd is free bird. i like them all so much but will never pass boston

van halen is one of those with gr8 songs on albums tht suck in my opinion. steely dan had some gr8 guitar.

Hard to say maybe The Way by Fastball. Maybe Holy Wars. Most likely La Torre Bermeja played by Andres Segovia. True what you said about Van Halen. The worst album iv'e heard is one by Incubus. Only like one song is good. A band that has good solid albums is The White Stripes.

incubus is one of those give or take bands IMO. some of their albums are like coffee, you have to acquire a taste for them. but thats a lot of bands.

one band....i think thats impossible. maybe, MAYBE, one band per each genre. but only listening to one band, as a gutiarist, is like chopping off half my brain and feeding it to a group of mainstream, preppy, crappy music-making monkeys.

I really like Incubus' albums pre "A Crow Left Of The Murder", especially the funk metal of "S.C.I.E.N.C.E." and "Fungus Amongus". Their newer albums are ok but nowhere near as good as the old.

It's quite hard writing a list of my favourite bands. There's so many of them, and they are so different...
