Californication by RHCP was one of the first solos I learnt. Really slow, uses a few bends, and you can experiment with slides as well. |

Learn
Every Rose Has It's Thorn -- by -- Poison
It is a chord song on acoustic (Mainly consisting of G and Cadd9, and there is a few D's, C's, and Em's here and there.)
There is a solo in it and a bridge which are pretty easy.
The song is nice and it should be no problem learning. If you don't wanna learn the solos yet you can just keep playing the chords behind it. It's also my favorite song lol
Good luck ! |

Yeah when you learn the fast part of a solo, take it in chunks. A few bars at a time, and do it slow, then speed up.
Actually do that with any solo... |

Yeah, play something as slow as you can play it perfect. Then speed it up gradually. |

Yeah when you play Free Bird you use a slide thing (as you probably knew.)
And it will sound a lot better. |

queen's 'we will rock you' and 'bohemian rhapsody' solos are extremely easy, so are alot of AC/DC ones like 'highway to hell' |

If you want some really easy solo's to work on, try some early Chuck Berry stuff like 'Johnny be good' or 'Roll over Beethoven' (just don't try 'duck walking' round your bedroom while your wife or mother's cooking downstairs, you won't half get some ear-ache!). |

Do you think the band "Buckcherry" got its name from switching Chuck Berry's first name and last name initials? |

im just gona bring this up again cause im bored with wut im playing. any other songs that are easy this is how i can play:
i can:bend, slide, trill(in a very simple way like in sultans of swing solo by dire straits)good with chords of all kind,
i suck at:vibrating, rythm, ok at alternate picking although cant control how many times i pick it, and ok at hammer on and pull offs.
i need somthing nice and easy or slow or some easy rythm with chords, any suggestions?
o hey guitar boy i can play cliffs of dover....on guitar.................hero. |

Try Hotel California by Eagles. Also try Nirvana. Kurt was not a good soloist. He pretty much played one string solos. I suggest you learn pentatonics well. Then you can play fast solos. |
