Muscle weighs more than fat, but it also takes longer to build.

So you're probably gonna have to be patient, and lift weights. You don't really want to have a lot of fat on you while in the military.

But this coming from someone who has no military experience at all.

Eat and lift, eat and lift, nothing more than that really. It's simple to understand, difficult to see the results in any short term manner. Best of luck to you!

I agree.with btimm. I would drink muscle milk,eat protein,and
lots of bread,pasta,wheat etc.

You need to ingest carbs and protein, and lift.

Do those thre,and your solid.

+1

Carbs for the win. But you have to be active or you'll turn into a ball of jello.

Just hit the minimum, you'll gain at least another 10 pounds in BCT :)

Rock on!
