Aqualung solo

This is a rough version of the solo I'm doing for my cover of Aqualung.

Sounds great my friend! i think you should lower a bit the gain,and fine tune your guitar,but really nice!

Thanks guys, I plan to do a whole cover of Aqualung, and as I said it was a rough version so I plan to improve on the tone of the guitar and flow of the notes.

I dug the sound DarkRiff. You are quick fingered and accurate. I heard a piece of Cross Eyed Mary today and had the same old thought as I do every time I hear Tull : "Flute is a mite on the limp side for powerful rock". Perhaps powerful rock wasn't what Tull was after. They could have used your licks but I imagine you weren't born yet. Please know that's not a dig at you, Dark, rather a testament to the staying power of the music. With the skills you kindly shared, this old man suggests 3 things that might allow you to make a living at this. Well actually 4. A versatile drummer, a bass who can get on well with the drummer, your own songs , and lastly, a sound unique to you. Anyone who hears you a second time will know who you are. I envy. Please don't waste your time doing covers - it is rare that anyone but another musician will listen. In the spirit of kindness, I wish you the best
