I saw Heaven and Hell a couple of years ago and Ozzy a year ago at Ozzfest. They were both looking and sounding better than ever. And with the original line up together and Iomi writing songs it's got to be awesome.
I hope sabbath does some mid pace songs. I get bored with all the slow songs after a while. They need to do more stuff like Into the Void, Hand of Doom, and Dirty Women.

I didnt mean Emo, I meant in a doom metal sort
of way. Thay founded that sort of drone that makes
just wanna sit and be silent.
And I meant the music as depressing, not the
lyrics. I have read articles where people such as marilyn
manson,marty friedman,coal chamber,and Ex ozzy guitarist
joe holmes have called tony iommi's guitar work some of the saddest
and depressing ever.

I just don't see how the music is depressing at all. You're probably gonna cite Planet Caravan as a source of "depressing" music, but to me it's just....."distant". I feel like I'm on a distant planet or flying through space when I hear that song. Never depressed.

I guess different people interperet
music different ways.I dont think most songs
by black sabbath are depressing to me
anyway(ie fluff,planet caravan,iron man
and changes.)Imo.
Yeah. I would'nt really call them depressing either although many songs can be. If you really listen to songs from their first 4-5 albums all the way through, you hear blues, metal, thrash, folk, and even some jazzy influences. I think even though they are a heavy influence on heavy metal bands of the day, those older albums still remain unique.
I just read another article from Rolling Stone that says the rummor is still a strong one. Iomi just aired his disappointment in the story breaking but never really said it was untrue. Idk, I'm still hopeful.

Amazing chill song to come down from a loonnnnngggg @ss day.
Yay for Sabbath.
Btw, from what I understand of the whole ordeal, Iommi had a conversation with the writer about jamming with Ozzy and the guys a few months back, and the writer just went and shot his mouth off, which angered Tony. But, they probably will at least tour. They have no reason not to unless Tony and Geezer go on the road or do something else with Whocares [with Ian Gillan and...some other dude. I can't remember. It's a big supergroup.].

Huh, I thought Geezer Butler was in that band. But yeah, I've only heard about twice from the radio dude. Plus I've never really liked Iron Maiden, so that's why I guess I couldn't remember Nicko.
