Respect to the dead...

So I came across this old music I used to love a few years ago, I came back to it today and actually found out that he died in a very horrific car accident this year. It made me really sad - but what I'm grateful of is that he made his mark in history. His music left so many people influenced and helped get them away from the poison of the mainframe.

So, I'm going to introduce you guys to Nujabes.


Now show me your respect to an influential (somewhat underground) dead singer / band / musician. and tell me why you have respect for them.

Here is one of my all time favorite guitarists and a player who most definitely lands a spot in my Top Ten Most Influential Metal Guitarists of All Time list.

Oh Hell yes GS124, most underrated song by them!! 25 Years never gets enough credit either.

So... I know this is cliche', and regardless of his legal situations, I still feel that this is one of the best pop singers to ever step on the earth. His music is diverse, yet easily recognizable.

I was driving from Maryland to New York yesterday and this song came on the radio. I never realized how musically addicting this song is. The riff is so simple, yet so catchy, and his vocals just draw you in for a journey. I love it, and you should expect a crazy fingerstyle arrangement of this song in the upcoming weeks.

Dude I love Michael Jackson! I got the whole MJ discography on my computer, including The Jacksons and Jackson 5.

"Concert for George". A tribute to George Harrison. I liked his style and he seemed so laid back. "The quiet Beatle"

Not a musician, but he did dabble in music, and made some albums with little jams woven in between the comedy bits that he did, so whatever. Bill Hicks, ladies and gentlemen.
