i thought it was boring as hell. it sounds like b-sides from thom yorke's solo album. maybe it will grow on me? eh. where's the "bodysnatcher"? the "15 step"? the "reckoner"???!??!?!
in rainbows was not their best album, but it was very catchy and it had its moments where it flat-out rocked. this album does not.
ill admit its not a rocker....i think the whole point was to create an "atmosphere"...to me it sounded like a combination of the "amoshperic" moments of Kid A, with the beats from Hail to the Thief, the light guitar from In Rainbows, and some of Yorke's solo stuff .....right now its my fourth favorite Radiohead album...that might change though
To me,this sounds just like any other hipster/wannabe indie guy music,Sorry, not my cup of tea,tho i respect others who like this.
except you obviously DON'T respect it based off your harsh labelling as "wannabe indie guy music". seriously re-read that paragraph and then put yourself in a radiohead/"hipster/wannabe indie guy music" fan's shoes, and see how you would interpret that statement.
honestly i don't even know why i still show up on this forum. at first i thought it would be a good place to exchange guitar/music knowledge but the more i read these forums the more i see closed minded harsh reactionary posts to things that are otherwise innocuous.

Because some people will turn you on to good music and you offer good advice to other people.
I have mixed feelings about it. At first it disappointed me, but after listening to it for a while, I was very impressed by it. But I still wish there was more to it, length-wise and guitar-wise
