I think learning all the major and minor chords would be a great start. Do you know how to change a minor to a major and a major to a minor? |

No offense, but I think you should either:
Check out all the lessons on this site and also on the internet as there are soooooo many (free!) topics in other forums, or lessons on youtube, or articles in wikipedia, that there is actually not much sense in us telling you these things again.
Or get a good guitar book. (If you should ask whats a good one, then go to Jazzguitar.be , they have made a voting with the best guitar-theory books and they also rated them.) So you should probably check that out! |

Must of missed this when it was originally posted... heh... will try this out anyway :)
Acoustic Folk eh? I think I might be able to help you out. I have a qualifying exam I need to take for my graduate program so I won't be able to help this week... but in the following weeks I think i could put aside a few hours a week to help you out.
Here's some of my work. Might help you make a decision. Shoot me a PM if you'd like my help.
