I know I haven't been on the site that often lately so I'll give you all the run down on what's been going on with me the post month or so.
I started going to church regularly for the first time in almost ten years. About three weeks ago I gave my life to Jesus and have decided to use what little skill that I have on the guitar for praise and worship.
This is a song I sat down and worked out tonight.
please don't delete this topic, it is music related. If anyone would like to talk to me about my new found faith in Christ please pm me.

Why would this topic be deleted?
faith based topics normally draw a lot of debate which isn't what I'm trying to do.
I simply experienced something that I wanted to share, and being a long time member on this site, I thought I would give everyone an update on the direction my music is going.
Hey, nice song. Sounds a little Pearl Jam, Temple of the Dog, Chris Cornell, Cread-ish.
Just to clarify some though. I saw a comment for this video on youtube.
"This is a really old Third Day song - but amzing song. It's called These Thousand Hills"
And it was uploaded 2 years ago, Anyway, love the music. Im not a man of faith given what Ive seen in life, but there probably is a god who will one day burn my sorry ass.
This is one I did create from war images off the net.

The music riffs were from a dude I spoke to on the net. Details on YouTube.
Nice crispy vocal m8. Sounds pretty legit. 1:25 solo sound was awesome, I hoped to hear bit more lenght on solo, but anyway great job with the song. Arrangement on song is good and mixing is balanced. With little mastering it might easily to be played on radio imo.
Cheers!

Hey L_P,
First of all I want you to know i completely understand you did NOT write, sing, play, produce, edit, derive profit from etc, etc the song!
Would be nice though if you hook up with some other musicians and finally make some music!
Good song. The intro (which shows up in a few places in this song) is strikingly similar to "I've got a feeling" from the Beatles "Let it Be" album don't ya think?
Anyway I'm glad to know you are smiling (ie happy in spirit). Hope to hear you play sometime.
Phip
P.S. I always liked that movie with Robert Powell.
