why would you need a capo that's kind of silly or does that notes behind it confuse you or something?, hell simple just hold up something on your screen to cut it off

I'd say one of the best ways to learning where the notes are on the fretboard is to write it out yourself a fair few times, then randomly tap your finger on a fret and string and guess what note it is.

The main thing I'd say to do is remember the tunings for the open strings, 3rd fret, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th etc. That should make it a little easier. It's nice to be shown the way, but I don't think it'll really benefit you in the long run.

As for the capo, I agree with RA on that one, I don't think it's necessary because the notes are still in the same place.
