we are a power trio right now, no singer, just me on lead guitar, my buddy on bass, and my friend on drums. We met up at around 11:30 AM today and played until around 1:30, then we took a break and jammed a little bit later. It was awesome how we could all go off of each other so easily :) We actually almost have 2 songs down already!(minus the vocals)
it was mainly a jam session though, we came up with 2 of our own riffs right off the bat, pretty sweet ones too :) |

haha Sometimes practice is really good and sometimes It's really bad but it probably has to do with some of my bandmates being perfectionists.
My favorite part of practice is when I play my solos and when we pass around ideas.

basically that's what happened, I just started chugging something back and forth then the drums and bass kicked in behind me, and then I just went nuts with soloing for about 40 seconds. it was fun, now I have a setlist of 13 songs to learn. :) |
