yea i wish i started way earlier..

Most of the great musicians started off at four or even younger. My old singing teacher learnt how to play the violin when she was 3.

At that age I swear it just ingrains it into their head to only play music, then they don't really have a real choice.

But still, I really wish I learnt when I was younger.

I wish I started at a young age, honestly the 8-year-old's better then me! Not to sayat thatage I think they/re stupid or anythingbut that's pretty depressing for me, ha.

You'd be surprised.

Learning about music helps your spatial reasoning ability as well, so those kids will probably have overdeveloped (well, more developed than those who hadn't had lessons?) minds and kick the crap out of public school.

i started when i turned 19, so i'm screwed.I think i read somewhere that before about age 11, your brain is still developing in many ways relating to how your fingers and such process and learn movements so its easier to start learn something while this is still developing then it is once it stops. This would allow committing things to muscle memory much easier

That first video is pretty cool. I live in Wisconsin and I remembering seeing that news story. I would love to jam with that kid sometime.

hes been playsing three years. just cause hes young he gets all famous and stuff? thats b.s to me. ive been playing 2 and this biatch has nothing on meh. p.s all he does is play shiat on the blues scale. any1 can do that if they wanna play t3h blues.

lol.. dont get angry my ol friend guitamastagood... i think itd be fun to have some of those kiddos postin around in the forums.. probly a quite different points of view on lots of stuff, but we would have to censurate some stuff maybe... if i had started at that age, i dunno, mmaybe i would be THE man or maybe i would have given up around 13, because if u play guitar at that age its because your parents wanted u to play.. then i wouldve stopped only for not agreein w them, typical teenager, and then, not playin guitar wouldve became a part of my personality... thats what i think
