Needless to say, I'm being influenced by the tribal and indian music. I wanna get a sitar to add to the mix, actually.

Oh, forgive my awful singing, and forgetfulness (forgot the lyrics for parts of the song, so I had to improvise).

ahh i see u have a deep voice like me, makes singing a bit harder, i like singers wit higher voices, but what i didnt like is the guitar strumming in the backround, id play with tht. i dont find tht it mixes well. the drumms however mix well i think. its a good job, but maybe look at differnet strumming patterens or chords.

Did you fall and bump your head? Both of these new songs are a quantum leap from where you were just a few months ago! Are you playing all instruments on these tracks or using some computer generated stuff? You are dead on with the beat which is the first thing i noticed about your new songs. Very nice, i would put this new song on the B side and the first song on the A side. Both respectable works, and I'm enjoying the "new Skold"!

A sitar is a plucked-stringed instrument. It's quite popular in India.

All of the tracks are played by myself, except for the bongos/congas (I can never tell the difference).

I just like that tribal/ritual/spiritual style that you find in places like India, Africa, Jamaica, etc. I REALLY love the instruments they use.

I personally prefer your first one more, this one is a bit more repettitive. Still not bad though.

If you're interested in tribal and indian music now, you should check out some of John McLaughlin's work with Zakir Hussain.

"Lotus Feet" is one of my favourite songs they made together.

But yeah, Zakir Hussain's work is amazing (Tabla player) and everyone who's featured in his songs are just as impressive with their individual instruments.

Well, I've updated this song again. I've added in a a ride cymbal throughout the break in the song. It's similar to the one in "The Space Between" by DMB.

Hehe, me too! ANd I also have a wierd mixed accent of Scottish, Irish, American and sometimes Austrailian...I've no idea how that can possibly all pop out of one person.

Back on the subject, great song! I love the melody of your voice on there aswell as you back ground music, I agree with JazzMaverick, MySpace works well for musicians. You definately should give a shoot for attention, your music's definately worth it. (If you ever think it's not, look how big that butch voice of Amy Winehouse got! Unless, you DON'T want any papperazzi crazys, then that's not so encourageing...)
