You definately know your fingering and chords well, I really liked the song. I can't really comment too much though as I'm just a beginner still and have only memorized one song myself but I definately like it! But I know people my age who'vebeen playing since they were 6 years old and they can't play as long or as well as you can, so I bet it's safe to say you're very good at it!

hehe, pentatonic is basicly the only scale i know inside out. lol maj im working on and still working on arpegios. i missed the first couple pick squels at first but w/e. all the songs are still in progress, and phip im using, a 1.14 mm pretty thick. the only thing about my solos is tht i cant remember what i did last time so ther all diff. and phip unless u want ur ears to be raped u dont wana hear me sing. the second has lyrics, and a lot of diff ways to play it so i screw up on it. im sure theyd all sound better with singing.
now watching it my solo in the last song sucked, and phip i was acctually wiping lint off them pants...i wouldnt dare get grease/oil near my guitar. also makes ur finger slip.

Yep, grease on a guitar neck is not pretty or comfortable. EMB you should try to play with an absolute clean setting on that Les Paul and maybe you could learn good Blues phrasing(yours is alright now). That helped me with playing Blues. Try to get that Skynard tone on Curtis Lowe(with or without slide)

ye on my amp its hard getting good clean tone, the tone really sucks wit distortion turned down, it fades, and it really sucks, btw i looooove curtis loew and i suck with slide, my new fav song is comin home, i love the final solo.
i think you should start listening to a lot of music you don't normally listen, and trying to emulate the things you like about it. i don't mean rock, i mean more complex and maybe even experimental stuff. i think what you really need is for john cale to give you lessons... help you step outside the box you're in. but everyone starts somewhere.

i love my vox ad30vt also EMB but yeah,cleans do suck. you can get
them but they just arent sparkly enough which is why i bought my
5W blackheart and did the mod to it. now i can get super fender
sparkle sounds and at the flick of a switch i can get a sweet marshall
plexi sound.i also got a line 6 uber metal pedal for the high gain stuff.
i just picked up a marshall valvestate(VS100) on craigslist for $100
i'm keeping the cab and selling the head for $150 lol now i'm rocking
a 3/4 stack w/the blackheart at home. i only use the vox when i go
out somewhere.
