I have noticed this problem with other amps except mine. I think its the contacts inside the amp. |

is it a 3.5mm jack, or a 1/4in jack?
if it's a 3.5mm jack, the jack most likely needs to be replaced and a honest technician around town shouldn't charge more then 15 to do it. or, it's the headphones.
if it's a 1/4in jack, check to see if it's TRS or TS. TS is a mono line, the king you plug into your guitar. TRS is the stereo counterpart, it has a additional black ring on the spike. if it's a TS, it's probably your headphones. unless putting a TS into a TRS will get you 1 side of the stereo send, but i don't think it does... |

its a 1/4in jack and i got the TRS one two rings on the spike but i think its still not the right plug i got, cause the headphone hardly fits in the plug... can u tell me exactly the size or the name like 1/4in to ___ TRS stero to stero... ah right i remembered the one i got is from mono to stero is that right!?:S |

read your manual... it should say whether it's M-S, S-M, S-S, M-M. now, is the headphone spike TRS or is the jack TRS???

at last!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the headphone works.. it was the jack that wasnt right.. i have a question, the quality of the sound doesnt seem to be like 100% coming out from the headphones, is that normal or should the quality of the sound be the same?? |

It should be the same, though it depends on how old your headphones or amp may be. Also see if the jack port is properly clean. |
