Well it all depends on what genre(s) you play the most and that kind of stuff. if you want to emulate a band's sound or a spercific genre look at the gear they use the most.

Also nice to find someone who has the same shit as me (squire strat,nylon(classical)acoustic,steel-acoustic)

Yeah it depends really on what kinda music you wanna play.

My Godin Exit 22 is awesome, it was $581.41 CDN, and it is really versatile, I play kinda like punk/grunge/hardrock and maybe a TAD of a metal.

I'm not too sure on what guitar is best for each style, but it also depends on your amp and other gear too

Les Pauls and strats are both good all around guitars.

Depends on your genre, mate.

For grunge, I would look at the Fender/Squier Jags. For rock, Les pauls and Strats. For metal, I would suggest Ibanez, ESP, Dean, and Jackson. If, like me, your an Oasis/Beatles/Nirvana mix, I would suggest Telecaster's, Les Paul's, some of the Gretsch guitars, and The Peavey JF-1 Hollowbody.

Schecter woohoo! They do tend to be a little pricey. Mine was $750 USD. However, I think that's the most expensive production guitar they make, so yeah.

Schecter makes relentlessly good guitars, for decent prices. There's a Schecter for just about ever genre and every price range... Nice looking things too.

Fender Standard Strat is roughly $400 and they sound awesome. Gibson or Epiphone LPs are more expensive but are better sounding. Ibanez guitars are fairly priced and so are some Jacksons.

If your rich i'd buy a P.R.S. but for a real good sounding easy to play guitar, buy a Washburn Mg-400 with a floating bridge... i also bought semore duncans for it but those are optional. they have a nice... scratch that, amazing look and an outstanding tone. it's on the heavy side but it's lighter than a gibson...

You should list price range in your first post, aswell as styles played.

what ever you get, have it setup the way you like. Most factory setups are good but not great. I've seen squires that play like Jackson's (action wise).

Also you got to find a neck that feels right to you. some of the gibson and epiphones have a "chunky" neck some like it others don't. The SG's have a slimmer nick.

You best to go to guitar center or some music store and feel up all the guitars your considering then decide.
