How do I delete a topic I made?

You can't. Only admins/mods can.

Can I change the category of a topic i made or is that for mods and admins.

one of the line 6 pods. I put one of them in the wrong catagory but oh well.

admins and mods seem to be like gods... if its in instruments n gear, why would u change it??

we should be allowed to edit our stuff tho, maybe not delete it.

Same here, I've been placing a few topics in better places for a while. I'm not sure who else is a moderator - but maybe the admin could have a little icon placed next to our names so people do know.

Also, it'd probably be a good idea if we could actually delete and edit topics and other stuff y'know, maybe have some control over submitted lessons and licks etc. Doesn't seem like the admin really has time to keep the place clean and organized.

Yeah I agree with Doz on all of that. An icon would be cool.
And deleting your own posts would be a good thing cause I always screw up sometimes on making threads haha

Yeah same, I've been changing quite a few topic catagories, and I just assumed everyone could do it as well. Is there anyone else who can? An icon could be useful so that people know who to PM if they want their topic changed.

But it would be a lot better if these people would not piss the mods off and put the topic in the right category in the first place

Yeah I'm a moderator, like bhs said I just presumed everyone could moderate. Wow! I feel so special! You'll know you're a moderator because if you scroll right down to the bottom of any forum page there's another blue box underneath the image upload box that says Moderator Panel and gives you the option to change the topic. Anyone else got that?

So Doz, how do moderators delete posts then? I've only got the option to change what category the forum goes in.

A moderator is someone who maintains the forums (keeps the peace, if you will).

DOZ, Bodom, Blackholesun and Afro_Raven have permission to change thread category. That's all.

Do we need a real moderator (delete posts, topics)? I'm not sure.

I agree with DOZ, someone can help to manage lessons and licks. That would be great :)
