Any bands in hiding???

A lot of great players had stage fright at once. Luther Perkins had a mad case of stage fright, actually.

I get stage fright like mad. I shake uncontrollably, I stutter when try to talk and my heart pounds before I play a gig.

lol thts wut i get. i belive i read some where tht buckethead had stage fright, thts y he wears the mask, also heard tht it was because he didnt want to be reconized. i have stage fright, camera fright, vid fright, girl fright...the list goes on... i shake, studder a lot, not tht i dont studder when i regularly talk, i studder all the time when i talk, i walk around, sweat sometimes, lol i once shook the hand of a guy, i wasnt sweating, but he was, it was like shaking a wet rag lol. i even get kinda nervous when ppl i never met b4 walk in and say "hi!"

ooooo ooo oo! EMB sounds like you might have 'Social phobia' I have it :) Part from stage fright that got dealt with when I started Drama also I feel safe behind my guitar o.O so I'm less scared you know, just feel like I suck >.

yes i sorta h8 a lot of people, in places, ball games concerts, i h8 when thers a lot of ppl, i guess just more ppl 2 judge me. i dont mind my family, but i get nevous if i do anything wrong, i feel, tht they feel i suck. the only place i feel absolutly comfortably in is on a golf course. im a beast at golf, and i feel no 1 can say anything about me or about golf tht i dont know, and i feel im better than everyone on it. yes...when im good at somthing i have a huge ego bout it.

i also am very outgoing tho... but mainly with friends. i gues i feel more comfortable with some ppl i know, just not a lot of ppl...wow i feel like im at a therapist

yeah i know the topics kind of changed but yall need to check out some King Crimson. the old stuff, not that 80's synthesizer shit.

Don't you just hate the 80's synth music? Although I do like Rick Astley, the rest makes me shudder.

But I don't really know any great bands in hiding... I sometimes listen to more underground rap or techno, but I can't really say I know too much rock or metal groups like that.

bands in hiding?

I have been listening to indie music more, sound clicks, and some my space stuff looking for something little different. I think amateur music has more heart put into and less commercialism. the reason for their music is different.

The reasons amateur music
1. They are hungry (they want to make a living out of music)
2. They love making music
3. They love sharing the music and getting feedback

The reasons Major label acts make music
1. To sell lots of records and make lots of money
2. To sell out large stadiums and make lots of money

Money is the root of all evil, but you enjoy performing, a small club should be just as satisfying as a huge stadium. besides in smaller settings you have a more personal relationship with the crowd.

Lol, I've been there, dude. Actually, that's what I spend most of the time at, hahaha...
But yeah, I don't have anything against being famous and stuff...I mean, I don't care about drugs and alcohol but you certainly get the attention of the girls, and while mose of you porbably don't need that extra attention, for me it would be the only (POSITIVE) attention I'd get.
Oh, and I DO like the money. Not to be rich or something but you can certainly buy some cool equipment if you've got more money....

lol, when im surrounded by girls i usually just dont talk and say yes to stuff and w/e i tend to tell a lot of jokes also. also if i know them, im kool, but im shy meeting ppl. i think the jokes are just a way of sayin somthing when i have nothing else to say, ppl say im pretty funny, yet stupid...i make a fool of myself. and i kinda dont mind one or 2 girls, but tons just pisses me off, they fking cant keep ther mouths shut, then again i dont like lots of ppl. i tend to be very self concious, i like everything to be perfect. i h8 wen painting are crooked, i h8 mking mistakes, i dont like showing ppl things unless they are perfect, my plying for example. also nervous round ppl. once i know them tho, i couldnt care less. also if i know ill never see them again i dont care. i fking walk around my house in my boxers while my friends are over lol. i couldnt care shitless, im just like tht.

also i come from a well doing family from a rich neiborhood, u ask for it...u got it... were all stuck up bastards, i h8 it. id rather have to work to buy stuff then get handed it. i do work btw.

i like girls...but i tend to tell 2 many jokes and make an idiot of myself...walking into walls, garbage cans, biking into cars, falling of boats, seeing my pants floating in the water wearing white boxers... it goes on, im a clutz, spaz and dip, but im funny and bright as hell. ok i should shut up now, u guys know more about me then i do...w8 i havent told u guys my name lol. o well guess not...
