Hello again.

Since I didn't edit the one post I had going, I really hate to do this.

I posted another reply to that thread, but after I submitted it, it disappeared into a dark hole or something like that.

I notice that the thread has 20 posts. Is that the limit for one thread?

I don't know what I did wrong, if anything. I don't want to piss anyone off by posting wrong here. It's just that I have quite a few more questions. You know, inquiring minds want to know.

If this post follows my last reply into that same dark hole, then I'll know that I'm doing something wrong.

I guess one way to find out what the different forums are about is to go there and read some posts.

Two more general questions that I have for this forum and I promise that I'll stop acting like a little kid asking, "Why is the sky blue?"

First, is there no way to preview a post before submitting it?

Second, is there an option anywhere that lets one receive email notifications when someone posts to a thread you’ve started?

1. I don't think... besides looking back over it. You can actually edit... so if something looks wrong you could go back and edit it.

2. No, it seems there isn't.


The reasons behind both of these questions is because I don't think the admin knew the forums would be as active as they would. I heard mentioned that before this wave of regulars came by it was dominated by AfroRaven who didn't really have loads of posts, it just so happened many people had hardly any. There are a lot of features of the usual forum that are missing, but since I got here I've noticed a lot of change to this site.

Yeah... I remember when he came by... he posted like mad. Still, if you post that much it's likely you'll get bored.

Well yeah. Burn out? Who knows, he might swing by again. I've got a feeling half of his intentions in the forums were to get the biggest post count, some of the things he said sometimes made me think that... but still - it's nice to have activity I guess.

lol whats the point of gettin the highest count? bragging rights? lol also i hope we dont get any spammers or ppl trying to sell stuff constantly, we should prob make a spam folder 4 ppl who spam stuff. it hasnt happend yet, but like the other sites, it may.

I suppose so yeah, it doesn't bother me. I just happen to not have much to do on the internet so I catch a lot of posts early.
And yeah, that would be annoying.
