Thanks guys. I ordered it a few hours ago. They don't have this one in the stores yet. I remember when you got your Strat Btimm. Does yours have sss or hss? I wanted more of a vintage style so I went with the sss but I wonder if I'm gonna miss the humbucker. |

I no longer have the Strat. I have an Epi LP. I need to take a pic of the new guitars for the site, lol |

Awesome purchase man! Looks good.
Strats, however, just don't work for me. Even with Humbucking pickups. I find that the necks, (and I'm talking Fender here) are chunky and way too round on the fret board. 'Course you could always scallop the frets, but what a pain...
I almost forget what it's like to buy a new guitar. I haven't bought a new piece of gear in five or six years I think. :(

You can always buy a double stacked humbucker. Looks like almost like a single coil, but obviously more magnetic - plus it'll fit in the same size whole; or it should anyway.

I switched my order today to an HSS! The cost was the same. It was driving me crazy that I may have ordered the wrong guitar! Anyways, I've always wanted a Strat but it had to be the right Strat. I think this one is it as far as the price, color and such. This guitar is not replacing anything either. It's an addition to the Warlock and the Schecter C-1 Plus. All three look sound and play different. The warlock has a 16 in radius neck. The Schecter has a 14in. And the Strat has a 9.5. I like all three for different reasons. |

Just got it! I love it. Everything is straight, sounds great and plays great. Happy! I just have to replace the 9 gauge strings with 10 gauge and then do some height and intonation adjustments.

That right there is a good looking guitar. I've always preferred maple fretboards to rosewood. To me, they just look better. Even though both my guitars have rosewood fretboards. haha |

Thanks ya'll. The picture doesn't do it justice. What's funny is that I've always suggested to people NEVER to buy a guitar on the internet. This one however is being sold before it ever gets to the stores. GC told me I can order it to be delivered to the store and then if I din't like it I wouldn't be charged. When I opened it at the store, the tech called everyone over to see it!
I put 10's on it, adjusted the the bridge height, the tension springs, and even the truss rod to straighten the neck for the thicker guage strings. If anyone ever wants to know how to do this, let me know. It plays beautifully! I'll switch out the electronics in the future but so far everything is great! |

It does look good. But I never understood why those guitars never come with locking tuners. |

They do have one with a locking nut but its $200 more and I actually have a set of locking Planet Waves but I find that all that is not necessary if your guitar is setup right and you know what you're doing. If anyone cares I could explain. Basically, strings bend and go outta tune no matter what you do. |
