Haven't been around in a while... Not sure if any body is still here from the old days but I would love to hear from you all and know what you've been up to.
I sold all of my gear to fund a small business venture a couple years ago. Went about a year without touching a guitar. My only guitar now is a takamine but I have to admit as much as I miss my les Paul I'm loving the acoustic stuff.
Been working on some Floyd and some black crows stuff and of course some skynyrd. Still love that feeling you get when your mind shuts off and your hands take over.

Hey man! That's wild, selling all your stuff like that. I made it back to America in February, but don't have any of my things, so I've been guitarless for 6 months.
What kind of business are you into? |

sup man I also have not been active in these forums for a while. I was in a heavy gigging punk band from San Diego called The Last Years where I played bass. We played some small clubs in Seattle, Portland, a festival in the middle of the desert and of course several drunken local shows.
Right now I'm trying to start a Thrash/Death Metal band with a local drummer. Good to see the forums are still active after like 2005 when I first visited the site.
I remember the good ole days when admin, Phip, les_paul, BBT,soyelche, jazz, and some other oldies used to post here, dont know if they still do.I remember that a couple of dudes got banned (baudelaire and some other dude with sunglasses). I know Empirism and guitarslinger are still going strong true veterans of this forum. |

Commenting on here because I haven't been on in ages. Was trying to find the name of a chord and remembered one of the features on the site....but I had to check out the old stomping grounds.
I have to say, I was an obnoxious little teenager on here. How did you guys put up with me? |

I'm sorry I don't know you now or from yesteryear or if you are a human or a robot. I've always been downsized, as I don't have a ton of gear to do anything with. If you are a human then maybe turning off your mind is a metaphor for turning off your computer and your hands taking over means throwing it out the window of six story apartment. If your a robot, sounds like your trying to emulate the direct opposite of what most humans want to do. |

Well JRM, I can tell ya that none of these dudes are robots, and I dont believe I am either. Maybe you want to tell me, what is your point in this?

Yeah, I drop in time to time :), When Phip stopped posting and Jazz concentrated more on her career, me and slinger posted a while, but not seen gs for a long time :). So yeah, kinda dead. But I just move these dusty things over and over, if someday this rise to it former glory :)

Glad to see your still here Emp! I miss the way this place was back in the day... Very lively with a good group of people that I count as friends to this day. It was a rare special kind of place that bridged the gap between a great bunch of people and brought us all together to learn and even collaborate in a way that wouldn't be possible without this site. Shout out to you Emp, Phil, EMB, guitar slinger, telecrater, jazz, league, Afro and all the other guys that where here in this sites heyday... Hope everyone is doing great and would love to see a reunion of the agc alumni! |
