Is it weird to be obsessed with your own song? Like something you wrote that you think is so cool, you just wanna listen too it over and over again? Idk thoughts? |

I wouldn't say it is common, but I wouldn't say it's weird either. But crap dude, if it's that good, post it on here and share it with us! |

Well I dont know if its that good. Its just something I made and thought was cool. Its just a random improv that turned pretty catchy. Its got 1-2 mistakes, but overall I thought it was neat.

I love listening to my own music. Most of it anyway. I really don't know why someone would write music, non-professionally that is, that they wouldn't want to listen to later. |

Not weird at all. I have a CD of my own songs that I listen to every once in awhile. It's cool to listen to your own stuff.like GS124 says, why would you write/record and not listen?

I wrote a song a few weeks ago, and listened to the recording of it over and over for days. I keep critiqueing it. Seems normal to me. |

I think it's good to listen to yourself. It helps to fine tune your playing. |
