So I got booked for a decent venue down here in AZ at a place called the "Clubhouse Music Venue". Pretty decent size but it won't matter since I'll be taking the stage on a Sunday night(of all nights). Anyways, I need some opinions on the set I want to do. I don't have a recording computer right now(nor any files to use) so I can't do my own stuff until that gets sorted. So for now I sorta have to do covers :(
Here's the first few songs that I thought of that could be pretty cool to hear live:
Holy Wars... The Punishment Due
Hangar 18(I have to sing it too!)
Master of Puppets

I know you have seen me butcher these before haha but I know them better than anything else I got XD

Any thoughts, ideas? Literally if you have anything to say about this please do :)

I'd play fear of the dark, fun lead parts pretty easy rhythm (although the fast riff that comes in sometimes trips me up) and it uses the same two chord progressions through the whole song just changed a bit so you can easily fall back onto a variation on the chord progression if you forget what they do.

Also as megadeth goes I love rust in peace... launch the polaris :P

Thanks dan, emp, and GShred :)
But I'll pass on Breaking the law, since the cover band I'm in is already doing that song XD

I'm going to go ahead and swap Hangar 18 for Tornado of souls, since I have not played that one live yet(plus, it's an awesome solo)

I've thought about that, and I can play it, but I can't find a decent backing track to use...
