GBA,
Are you refering to the other post about FFD tabs? It's possible no one here has the tabs but Case had a good suggestion. Can't you take the "not so good" tabs and work them out and make corrections? I noticed in your bio that you have 9 years experience. Sit down with those tabs and fix 'em. Sometimes what you are looking for out there on the net just doesn't exist so you gotta work it out by ear. It's an excellent way to develope your ear so that you can eventually play what you hear. Give it a shot.

I couldn't have put it better myself Phip; gba, with your 9 years experience I reckon you should be able to transcribe stuff easily by now. Come on I've been playing not even 6 years and I do that on a daily basis.
And please don't refer to people on this site as sh!t; bear in mind that not only can I delete anything you write, I can also edit it to say whatever I want. I'm not power-mad, and for 99.5% of the people on this site I would never need do that (nor would they expect me to), but we've got a good atmosphere going on this site and there's really no need to ruin that :)
So yeah - get transcribing, and I guarantee that if you work it out for yourself it'll be that much more enjoyable to play!

You can never completely rely on someone else's tabs. It's all about individual interpretation. I remember a couple of years ago when I was trying to get tabs for the Clapton version of 'Crossroads'. I tried half a dozen different sources and got half a dozen different interpretations. And this is bearing in mind that old Eric isn't the quickest guitarist around the fretboard so making an accurate 'tabbing' shouldn't have been too difficult. So yes, like phip and Afro say, give it a go yourself.
I'm a bit crap transcribing the faster licks so I bought a Tascam CD GT guitar trainer. That can slow a tune down to about 50% of its normal speed. I understand there's also a piece of software kicking around that does much the same job. |

To be honest, I sat down and listened to that 5 finger death punch song for you and was going to see if I could tab it out. However, it was taking more than 10 minutes, so i figured it wasn't worth my time.
Sorry. |

@GB
I believe the CDGT has been superseded by the MP3GT. If this is the case you'll probably get a good deal on the CDGT on ebay. |
