My ibanez(profile pic) has a neck/truss problem. There is no more relief it can give, it is almost perfectly straight with the truss backed out almost completely for the last 24 hours with a high action and some string tension on it to help pull the headstock inward... I cannot figure out why I have this problem with the high e and the neck is not too well either, which has taken the intonation and trampled it.
So for now, my favorite guitar is going into retirement after 20 years.

Have you take it to a Luther or a pro guitar setter up guy/gal? all may not be lost. Also is the neck set as in glued to the body? if not check out ebay. You may be able to find a suitable replacement neck |

@tele
I am looking for a replacement neck, it is a bolt on, but high school and stuff, money is a little tight at the moment. plus I am going to transfer the components over to a guitar that my friend is going to sell to me tomorrow. Its an explorer body and neck routed for a floyd already(and nut)with a couple humbucker places. So that's going to be my new guitar for a while. |

It needs to be looked at someone who knows how to fix necks. The truss is backed out all the way and the neck is at max relief and is still basically straight. |
