I got my new guitar today!
The picture I'm going to post is not it, but its the closest thing I could find on Musician's Friend.

Mine is the same everything basically cept its not wine red, it lighter than than and almost candy looking [If it had flavor I'd eat it, but I'm guessing that polished wood doesn't taste too well]. I'm going to take of all the cream/white pick-guard and the stuff around the pick-ups and put on all black. Same with the brass knobs. I'm going to get the transparent black ones that Dean puts on their Dimebag Darrell guitars. Lastly, mine has the single coil humbuckers like Slash uses, not the Alnicos. Well thats aboot it. |

Ok now that's awesome. If it's very similar to that, I'm pleased! A great guitar, and the body is amazing. |

@FGOTA - Not really. My dad said he'd put me on a payment plan, and he'd pay a little bit since I'm gettin' it for Christmas, but after we bought it, I asked what the payment plan was, and he said there isn't one. So that was pretty cool.
@EMB - Cool dude. What pickups are you putting in yours?
@ Jazzy - Hah, thanks. Its actually a lot more comfortable than my Strat. The neck and the overall guitar is smaller and more compact than the Squire. And that neck is super easy and fast. Oh, we were in the shop testing it [me and my dad] and when the guy plugged it in, it wa in the huge Epi valve king amp and someone had had the volume at full blast. They guy told me to play some chords so he could get the sound set up and it shook the walls. Therfore scaring the royal shiite outta me cos' all the other guitars were hung up on the wall. lol. None fell though, AND he turned the volume down. |

Cool! I played an Epi Les Paul in the store today, and now I really want one! I've got roughly $100 now, so I may have it by the end of April, as my birthday gift. Those are very nice guitars.
But get off the internet and start playing it! |

@Ozzfan,
Everyone's getting new guitars this week. Lucky little b_____!
Congrats! I like your ideas on the color change. It's gonna look sweet. Another cool dad out there. Mine passed away a long time ago, can I borrow yours? There's some new gear I'd like to get on his "special" payment plans!
