I agree with ironman. I mean, why would you look up to someone whos lasted basically goodbye message was as I-man said earlier "When it gets too tough, reach for your sawn -off!".....Psshhh. And then Cobain becomes a legend through his death, and bands like Megadeth get critized just for their LYRICS. C'mon!!!!!!!!

It was the music at the time, and it was exactly how he wanted to express himself. We can't judge his interest, the same way I can't judge yours.

this is a stupid argument. im not a cobain buff, but it seems like everybody likes to jump on the cobain hating bandwagon. every guitar forum i see everyone says cobain was an over rated guitarist, whatever. regardless, he got famous over years of hard work, which is likely more then any of us will be able to achieve. yet he wanted to get out of the industry because his music was exploited. kurt cobain was a tragedy in the music world and it disgusts me that people tarnish his memory. i agree with jazz, i cant judge your interests, but you can't say sit there and say cobain was horrible without understanding where he came from. im not saying that cobains death should be a legacy, it should be a warning.

and again, cobain was murdered, he didnt kill himself. he was too short to shoot himself with a full size shotgun, and already had three times the lethal dose of heroin for an ADDICT. he would have been dead before he had a chance to shoot himself. Tom Grant has been campaigning for years to reopen the case.

I have to say if it weren't for that man,I would not have continued to play guitar. I used to say the Nirvan taught me the guitar and I can tell you lots of lessons in music i have learned from nirvana.
