Hi Phip, thx for the welcome! I've been playing a good few years (not that that makes me brilliant), and I'm stuck in a 60's 70's time warp and proud of it! There's very little I find to like about 'modern' music (that should set the cat amongst the pigeons)and I hope there are a few more like me on this site, otherwise I've stuck my neck out for nothing lol!

Yeah, that ought to make the natives restless. lol Actually there have been several heated discussions on this topic lately. Surprisingly I have had many younger members tell me they wished they had been around during our era, and MANY are ardent fans of our "guitar heros". Most of these "kids" are pretty bright and very eager to learn (me too, i'm a beginner, 1yr). they have a broad range of tastes.
I think you'll feel right at home here!

LOL I dont' know if you get the commercial in the UK but here in the states they are running a commercial with a bunch of guys playin guitars and singin about viagra! It's one of the most stupid ads i've seen lately. They're doing the song to Elvis' "Viva Las Vegas". Pics of hotlips? yeah, but it will cost ya...
