Just a thought - What about putting an Online Now on the site, that way you can see what users are online right that second? And it will update live like if someone signs off their username goes like gray or something.
That way we know who is online and where to find them (it will show what thread they are reading, etc.)
Another suggestion;
When there are new posts in a thread, what about showing it like this:
Thread name Posts Name
Example 10 (10) GB666
New posts are displayed in brackets, that way, we know how many new posts were added after our most recent post inj the thread.
Just some thoughts. |

Online now sounds pretty good. I dont know what you mean about the brackets. There kind of is an online now feature. I can see when someone is in a thread just cant tell who it is. |

1st answer: Jackson

(2) as in 2 unread posts. |

Yes! That's what I forgot, deleting your posts at ANY TIME would be good.
And it will, of course, take off a post count. |

ye, post count is rather unnessecary, definatly not the first thing to alter tho. id say deleting is huge, if some 1 typed something they didnt want to, or a lot of times ppl put in embedded codes, they dont realize they didnt work, and they cant edit to put in a new code, they start another post, and have to clog the thred. |

I think these forums would be better without a post count. |

Noooo, it adds some fun to it. I mean to see like who's been here before, and who really cares and stuff. I don't we should remove the post count? |

@Mici the post count is really not indicative of who "cares" and who has been here the longest. Instead of a post count there should be a "member since" date and lessons count should stay in the profiles.
P.S @Mici look at you and me. I'm barely at the bottom of the post(I've been here longer than most) count and your not even there and dont forget Afroraven who was like one of the firsts to join and was extremely helpful. |
