What's the most expensive guitar you've ever seen in person,
I used to own a $20,000 1964 Fender Stratocaster, then it got stolen, That Bastard. |

Sorry to hear that it got stolen. That would suck hard.
Skold is that yours? Looks like a BC Rich.
The most expensive I have seen was like, $3,544 Gibson Explorer.

I saw one of the earliest Lawsuit Explorers. It was priced to like 22000.
Then again, I did see one of those Van Halen Replicas, and those were apparently 25000... |

The guitar I posted is the most expensive guitar in the world (according to The Guiness Book of World Records: 2004).
@GB
No, not really. If anything, it looks like an Alembic. |

I saw A Rodriguez Spanish Guitar worth about 9,000 Euros. It had like gold inlays and silver tuning pegs. This was in a Madrid novelty store. I always see those Gibson Les Pauls that are between $3,000-$6,000 |

I find it looks like a BC Rich Dagger, or possibly a Virgin. But it looks more like a Dagger, IMO.
I think it's the cutaways making me think this.
EDIT: How much is or was that guitar? |

I don't think it looks like a BC Rich. As for the question though... I don't know. I'll have to have a think about that one. |

I can see how it looks like a B.C. Rich. Most B.C. Rich guitars dont look like any other guitars. There are some pretty expensive guitars on E-bay. |

I think just because it looks slightly spikey, is the only reason. |

I think BC Rich's are ugly.
I am mainly just referring to the cutaways (as I previously stated) and the bottom sorta. |

There are some nice BC Rich's... not all of them are mad designs with spikes everywhere - that's just what they've become known for most. |

Rich Bich is a weird but cool guitar. I heard that high end B.C. rich guitars have good tone. |

Yeah the Bich's are weird, In a way I like them, as fucked up looking as they are, they are cool.
Those are the guitars from BC Rich that if I played, and it sounded nice, I actually might buy, Doz. I used to own a Warlock bronze but it sucked. Costed like 524 dollars too but I sold it for full value. |

I don't need a new guitar for a while. I still love my Godin aha.
I just need gear because my RP70 can go suck a big one. |

only reason i would have 2 guitars is to have one in drop B (which is what i ussually use) and one in standard.. or if i find one really cheap, then it can increase in value and sell it in 20 years |

Now, I don't think I'll ever *need* a new guitar, but I *want* other guitars for different tones. I play a lot of genres pretty evenly so I'll probably wind up having to buy gear for a long time. |

Hmm, I doubt that they would be too much better than a guitar around $2000 dollars, but the reason they are so expensive is because they're rare. There's probably only a few in the world, so they're more like a collector's item. |

Well, occasionally I've been checking out this site, but now I just had to show these pictures :)
Why it's so expensive; it a Martin, and the inlay is done by hand with mother of pearl in ebony, some of the parts are gold plated... |
