Favorite Pickups

Its a tight run between Dimarzio's and EMG's for me. Ceramic magnets all the way. Whats your opinion?

i just have the jacksons that are in my guitar... i dont need super good ones =p

I am crazy about EMG's. I just love the sound of them. Though I haven't played them much, I am not really of much help to you, so this is just my opinion. But I like the GS-1's and GHB-1 on my Godin Exit 22.

The Jackson stock pickups are surprisingly good. My favorite are between Dimarzio active pickups and Seymour Duncan Hb2. The actives are not good for rhythm guitar in my opinion.

I have a freind who put some Bare Knuckle pickups in and they're good.

Bare Knuckle? Never heard of them.

is ther a diff in sound?

With different pickups? Of course.

Bare Knuckle are quite popular, but expensive. Quite high gain, his were.

EMG- 81's are the most popular among metal guitarists. Zakk wylde, kirk hammett, etc. i also like seymour duncan invaders, they're synyster gates' pickups

Damn Doz, I think I just found my replacement pick-ups =D BKP sound so amazing..just need to find the right ones for me..only heard rather light bluesy style stuff so far so I can't tell what there like for Heavy Metal/Punk rhythm..

I have Seymour Duncans, JB at the bridge and an SH-2N (Jazz) at the neck. Nothing to complain about, even with a fairly crappy amp they can still scream.

i like a classic rock sound, and the heaviest im playing is ozzy/metallica/sabbath and one maiden, i play tons of classic stuff, as in zepp, skynyrd, boston, gnr, pink floyd, hendrix...ect. what pickups should i get?
