ok so i came up withh this arpeggio.
its in the key of F# maj(ionian)
f#-G#-Bb-B-C#-Eb-F /wwhwwwh
the notes in it are F#-B-c#-F
R-#3-5-7
or R-11-5-7
could i call it an F#maj7add11(no 3rd)?
i do not know what to call a triad with a #3.
any insight on what it actually is would be appreciated.

Well, when I sat down with my guitar to figure out what you were doing, a familiar chord shape came up:
E|--2--|
B|--2--|
G|--4--|
D|--3--|
A|--4--|
E|--2--|
I've used this chord quite a bit, and it resolves nicely to the root (F# major), so based on that, it's definitely a version of the F#maj7 chord. I think some of Bach's compositions likes to resolve with F#, F#maj7, F# in his chorales. |

the chord i was thinkn of was
E--
B--12
G--10
D--11-
A--9-
E---
your chord is an F#maj7,my chord is a F#maj7-but with a #3,or you could call that #3 an 11th because there the same. |

@domigan I'm not sure but I don't think you use add7(F#sus4add7) I believe you specify the 7 first then the extensions. But I could be wrong? |

I'm not sure how the "add" works, but if it's understood it's good enough for me.
But it's not a major. It's suspended.
Major = 1-3-5
Suspended 4th = 1-4-5 |

The 7 is not flat making it a Major 7th chord. Has nothing to do with the 3rd
7th chord= 1 3 5 b7
Major 7th= 1 3 5 7
sus chord= 1 4 5
7thsus4= 1 4 5 b7
Maj7sus4=1 4 5 7
How about this chord
e---1--
B---2--
G---2--
D---0--
D minor Major 7 or DmMaj7 |

I even tried looking at it with the C# F and B as the root notes wondering if it was just a crazy inversion. In fact, this is just a crazy chord. Cool, but legitimately psychotic. |
