Those lines look great to me. When i try to post a tab it comes out wrong and i have to correct it a few times before it comes out right. And if someome posts between corrections im screwed then i cant edit it at that point. Is there a trick to having it come out the same as it looks before posting? |

at the beginning of your tab you put tab like this>>> [tab ]< without that space at the end of your tab you put tab lik this>>>>[/tab ]
e--------
b---------
g--------
d--------
a---------

I found that it looks better when you wright it on a word processor or some thing like it, copying and pasting, and not changing how it looks rather than writing it all out on the post. remember to preview it first though. I had to preview this first one 80 times before getting it. also if the preview doesn't look right try adding a few lines to get them straighter. I hope this helps so you can put something up.

Why would i write in the string names? Isn't that obvious.
And writing it first somewhere else like on wordpad document is great idea. |

null, the reason for the string names is for beginners, and pekple who use alternate tunings.

I can see it being for beginers who might play it upside down. But it should be impied as regular tuning if left alone. |

this is a wooden metal lick that may take a little bit of explaining. especialy for bars 2 and 4. in bar 2 the 5 on the D string is played a little faster than in the first and third bars. in bar 4 those close notes are all hammer ons and pull offs. Injoy. |

this sound really cool if you add some cool vibrato on that last note. |

That's the problem now-a-days... no one can be bothered to put in effort in their work. It's as if no one cares to be proud of their own work.
Tabs are half assed "can't be bothered" to read & write notation to begin with. But now people (even people at my Uni) can't even be bothered to write up simple tab strings letters?? Good luck is all I can say to anyone who does that... that's all I can say. |

@ jazzy. How do you write standard notaion on a computer like you can do with tabs.
I think whats cool is when tabs has standard notation above it. That way u see the timeimg. And sometimes tabs have the timeing above them. |

I like tab mostly because I can read it right now. Im learning how to read music but its slow going. another thing I like about tab is that you could take it some where else. the way I play the things Ive put on this may not be the way that someone else would if they bothered to try it but its still sounds cool. now when it comes to professional music Im learning I prefer tab with the music over it or just regular notation but it takes time for me to figure it out. there is good and bad things about both ways of writing music. |

Tabs are nice because it boils a huge thing like the musical staff down to 6 strings. Of course, it's also not nice because it completely isolates the guitar part from any other part in the band >. |

E--2-2--4-4-------2-2--4-4-------4-4------|

G-----------------------------------------|
D------------6-6------------6-6--4-4------|

this sounds really great when it ends on a heavily vibratoed B note on the A string. |
