Lets start out with Linda Manzer model The Pikasso Guitar.

An amazing 42 string instrument, that has been popularized Pat Metheny. As you can see you can get some really interesting sounds out of it.

Next up is anything by Emerald Guitar.

They make mostly make electric acoustic guitars and bass, but now and again they do a custom job.

They are really something.

All of there guitars get a finish that changes there color depending on the angle and lighting. you can see here in this video.

So really intresting work being done also is MIDI guitars, here is one The Benshee. If you know Muse then you all ready know some of the sounds it can make.

Taking a guitar sound (fuzz, distortion, ect.) and layering it with some other MIDI electronic sounds can really give you a powerful interesting sound. For some bands I've worked for before I used both a keyboard and my guitar with some feedback, the idea of all that together in a guitar sound vary appealing to me.

Here is the Manson M1D1 that opens up a whole world of possibility.

Thats all I have to show today.
Peace and Love

With the banshee, wouldn't it be easier (and cheaper) to just put the whammy bar back in and use a whammy pedal?
Instead of messing with all those knobs and the theremin thing?

It wouldn't sound the same or be as cool. Speaking of that I'd like to have a theramin.

Cool stuff neo.

But does it have all the other effects?

All the other effects come from the midi connected to a synth.
That's what they don't tell you.

The end of the video says the effects in the guitar. (fuzz and pitch shifter [aka boss version of whammy])

plus a DigiTech Whammy has a midi port, so you can still do all that

@domigan_lefty I would want a whammy over the guitars own effect. WHY? because you have more control, you have both hands on the guitar and you foot controlling pedal.

What I do like about the guitar is the fact that some progress is being made, that is why i showed the Banshee first then the M1D1. The M1D1 is amazing, taking an XY dynamic and putting it together with a guitar opens up a whole world of possibility.

@Dominigan_Lefty-That seems missleading to me.
