When i man sings it it, it sounds airy, and less loud. Unless they reinforce it like judas priest... Best way to tell... If theyre hitting notes way above a male range and theyre not steve perry, theyre using falsetto or head voice... |

if they're singing falsetto it's very very obvious that they're using a falsetto voice.
don't quote me on it, but i think by definition "falsetto" is a different voice from your normal singing voice. |

You can hear the falsetto part easily when you listen to a yodeler. He is alternating pitch from the chest register to the head register.
From Wikipedia: All human voices are considered to have at least two distinct vocal registers, called the "head" and "chest" voices, which result from different ways that the tone is produced[2]. Most people can sing tones within a certain range of lower pitch in their chest voices and tones within a certain range of higher pitch in their head voices (also called "falsetto"). |

Too late, I am. Me singing in a different voice could be singing in a pigs snoting voice. Or in a birds.
there is head and chest. In fact many singer mainly sing in falsetto or head voice (although theyre not the same) so then chest would be different...
