Help me identify this guitar

I made a trade and cant figure out what kind of guitar this is...

I don't know but my friend has one very similar, could be the same.
It looks very nice though.

Its cool and has a good sound (different) but nice.. Has a round back just like an Ovation.. Looks like one all the way around but the. markings are not right and no numbers on it... I am confused about it.. I even took it to a local shop and they have never seen one.

Yep, hate to have to tell you man but like Ozz said, it's a cheap Ovation copy - there are tens of thousands of similar ones around, and the companies that make them tend to dip in and out of business so quickly it's very hard to keep track of these guys, hence the folks at your local music shop not recognising the name and why it doesn't have a serial number either.

But that really means jack sh!t if it has a sound and a look you're proud of, because quite frankly that's all that matters anyway!

Thanks guys... I do like the guitar and it sounds good so I guess I will just enjoy it for what it is.

what does it matter if its a cheap one? the only difference is how much it costs

price tags and brand names don't really matter if you like a guitar and you are proud of it

i think you should be more proud of your playing not your equipment

that is also true, but, no one should be self conscious that they don't own a Marshall or a Gibson.

is the back round?

back is round. electric/acustic... pretty much just like a applause.

I like the guitar. I was just wondering what it was... I really hope I was not getting ripped off because I traded an electric guitar (austin) small amp and a foot peddle for it.
