Ukelele ?

okay so, I'm thinking of buying a uke soon.
but I was just wondering, what's a good brand ?
I don't know very much about them, so any help ?

Ohana is my favourite, and I'm pretty sure they're rated the best brand... but they're pricy.

You can find some weird ass ones called Risa Solid which basically immitate the shape of other insturments.

Pono isn't bad either. Totally depends on taste though.

What's your price range?

and along the same vein, how would you know a good one as opposed to a not so good one if you have never played one? Prob the same as buying your first guitar but maybe the thing to do is bring along a friend who plays uke and you'll have someone to advise you.
