Alright guys, I got another problem. I'm going back home to Phoenix in June for a week and I don't want to have to pack up my guitar and amp all over again, that was too risky and too much of a pain in my backside. So I found a guitar shop that will rent out some of their used gear pretty cheap, they told me that they would when I was in there over Spring Break. They carry Ibanez, Cort, Schecter, Dean, Godin, and some other various ones that I saw for their guitar selection. For amps they have some pretty nice selection of Peavey's Fender's and Marshall's along with a Valvestate(I think) half stack.
So, anyone got ideas for some sweet gear to play around with for a week? |

Ibanez is the best out of all the ones you mentioned. Although it depends on what type of Deans and Schechters they have.
If you can play really loud where you'll be staying then definitely take a halfstack and rock the building. |

Well with amps I have had the privilege of messing on with my friend’s Marshall’s and Peaveys. I can just say I liked them. (I'm not a very detailed person when it somes to this!) One also had an awesome Schechter of some sort. It sounded awesome whatever it was. Can you ask to try any out in the store before you rent them? |

I can't stress enough how much Schechters are great guitars. My first guitar was almost a Schechter Omen.
Deans are very comfortable to play IMO and usually sound good.

I was leaning toward one of the Dean Dime's that they had, both with a floyd rose, but I am going to try out some Ibanez's and Schechter's as well, I really just wanted some opinions on various types before I go...
as for the amp, I was definitely thinking about the halfstack:) then no one in the family would be able to hear for the whole week |
