I would really like to play one, but I'm not sure where they sell them near me.
eddies guitars 7362 manchester rd st. louis mo 63143 (314) 781-7500
ENJOY !
Gah, I figured Eddie's would sell them. I tend to avoid them, since their customer service is atrocious. If you're a kid (like me) they just stare you down and breathe down your neck until you leave, in an attempt to make you uncomfortable. But they have all the good gear! I might just go in and introduce Eddie to my friends Mr. Franklin, Mr. Grant and Mr. Jackson (the guys on the $100, $50, and $20 bills in the US). There's nothing like a wad of ca$h money to change a salesman's manners. :P |

lol. do what i "accidently did" steal i mean borrow! borrow! yes borrow! my friends money, and "acidently" drop it all over the floor. now they take me seriously. hehe,
on another note, i do hate the way lots of people treat kids. were people you know, we have feelings!!! i hate when people mark us as being worse, lower, and think of kids as being destructive, yes that is true for some kids, but wer not all the same, give us a chance, i mean ther has to be some "a dults" (reason i spaced is because a dult is a very very stupid person...) who are like that. |

If you dropped a 'wad' of cash on ANY shop floor where I live you'd be mugged before you could run 50 yards (probably by me!). |

Guess I just learned to work the quoting gizzmo!
Here's the plan (it worked well for me at my local guitar shop when I was 12, it was my dads idea). I'd seen a cheap acoustic guitar that I'd set my heart on (I couldn't keep borrowing the schools guitars for practice, it was the mid 60's so you can imagine the demand!) I told the manager I wanted it and asked if he'd put it to one side if I agreed to pay a pound a week out of my paper round money. He was over the moon a) because he new I was serious about wanting to play and b)because he knew that, even if it took 3 months, he was making a sale. It was the best idea my dad ever came up with. It was like having a VIP ticket to go and try out all the guitars in the shop whenever I wanted and that's not all. That manager could really play and he taught me loads. For nothing!
Well worth a thought. |
