Can anyone suggest a good acoustic track that can be played with minimal guitarists?
I have Good Riddance by Greenday and Pieces by Sum 41 in mind. |

Heart of Gold by Neil Young is always a good choice. Most Bob Dylan songs too: The Times They are A-Changin', Blowin' in the Wind, Hurricane if you want a really long song. |

Eagles - Hotel California
DMB - Crash into Me
Pearl Jam - Betterman or Black
STP - Creep
By the way, I heard it was an unwritten rule among guitarists to never perform Tears in Heaven b/c of the beauty and significance of that song... Out of pure respect to one of the greatest guitarist (IMO) ever to play. Has anyone else ever heard this? |

CTown, I never heard that. Kind of a dumb rule to be honest.
Joshua Raidin - Winter.
Yamit Mamo - Sparks New.
Dave Crompton - Main.
Fleetwood Mac - Landslide.
Breaking Benjamin - Forget It.
Every tried turning songs into an acoustic track even though the original isn't? You should give it a go, it's a lot of fun.
Some suggestions:
Muse - Time Is Running Out (or) Hysteria.
Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become.
O.o never know!
I've always wanted to see what these would be like acousticly.
I just re-discovered one of the coolest songs ever!
Scatman John - I'm the Scatman.
ahahahaha Awwww yeah.

No it's not true. In fact a lot of people dislike the song greatly and find it distasteful.
Personaly I have little opinion about the song one way or the other.
You wouldn't see me performing it, but not out of any other reasoning than I have songs I'd much rather play than that.
The scatman however, is pure gold. |

Thanks for the overwhelming response... I think I'll go for Pearl Jam's Black....
@JazzMaverick
While converting songs to acoustic, do you keep the chord structure same or do you change it somehow?Plz give me some pointers... :) |

You can do, but it's up to you if you want to spice it up and alter the chords a little bit. Makes it more your own. You can create whatever strumming pattern you want and give it that edge. Don't change it too much so it doesn't even sound similar though. |

I really like Better Man, probably one of my favorite songs. The little arpeggioesque thing at the beginning is pretty sweet, and the lyrics are probably some of Vedder's best. |
