Do you think looks are everything ? Or even important ?

it's not a bad idea for a buget or entry level guitar. I know when i started playing i was always out of tune and it would have been a great tool. with saying that my Series 10 guitar cost me $60 second hand and nowhere near $2500.

The sound of the robot guitar is the same as a Les Paul that Page, Slash or Wilde playes, except it will tune itself by pressing a button.

Well Doz you do make a good point, I don't like tuning my guitar sometimes cause every so often I hit a day that it keeps slipping or I can't get it into tune.

BUT, for a beginner, like someone COMPLETELY new to guitar, this may not be good.. Think about it.
If you give them a robotic self tuning guitar when they start out, they are not gonna have the first clue in hell on how to tune a regular guitar. Maybe this would be better for a more advanced guitarist...

Thats funny how the topic changed quickly. Megadeth definetely destroy Metallica. Metallica's best songs are written by Dave Mustaine. And as to Kirk Hammet, I can play the same or better.As I brought up the topic of overpriced Gibsons I feel obliged to say that their acoustics are the most overpriced. There's no doubt there are too many guitar companies created for every genre. I honestly believe the best guitars are Framus. They are just too expensive. But if I had the money I'd buy a Framus over a Gibson. For Metal Jackson/Charvel,ESP/LTD,and Ibanez in that order. These guitar companies are underrated because NuMetal used pretty much any guitar with extremely heavy distortion.

Hey slinger who said anything about a beginner BUYING the guitar ? His friend or family coulda lent him it to start on... I lending my friend a guitar.

Kirk Hammett isn't the best guitarist anyways.. he uses like too many pedals.
