Do you know the feeling, when you was just a second ago, heard something new, Song, band, performance whatever that left you totally stunned.
This is rather new band, it is founded in 2008. It took only two years when they won W.O.A metal battle contest in Wacken open air festival in Germany. I kind a like them at time, they had very, very promising sound, but when I heard this and Absolutely gorgeous woman vocal performance and friggin whole sound...

I've always loved power-metal and it will always have a place in my playlists. You'd probably like bands like Iced Earth, Amon Amarth, Nightwish, Kamelot and so on; there are many really good power bands out there. Symphony X is probably the best power-metal band of all time as far as skill and composition are concerned. The genre typically combines high speed guitar antics with a heavy dose of keys and over-the-top vox.
This song is pretty epic, the lyrics and themes are kind of silly, but the music is outstanding.
Hahhah, probably! Iced Earth is awesome little more raw than its previous form Blind Guardian... and Nightwish (earlier with Tarja Turunen) is top side of my playlist :)
Yeah, haha.. I thought the same, but Ninjas are cool XD as every little boy thinks :D. Yeah, actually many especially power-metal have themes not so... thought-provoking. But I found myself thinkin, when I heard sound as close of Judas Priest? especially from woman but anyway, her first album. Give her year or two :) (oh, forgot to mention.. that they changed the vocalist to this album. Earlier left cuz family reasons)
Symphony X... hasnt been listening it for a long time, but its songs verges geniusness.. those theme things comes to mind as lyrics of In the dragons den in its earlier albums ;)

I have always loved power metal stuff though I admit the lyrics to power metal songs tend to sound like someone well versed in D&D wrote them. It is an incredibly good genre for story telling, which is what I think I like most about it.
I have never heard of this band before which kind of surprised me after listening to them. they are very talented. One thing I will say is that I couldn't stop myself from laughing every time the lead singer yelled "SHE'S A BLACK NINJA!!!" that kind of stuff cracks me up. good post dude, its nice to find new bands without having to look lol.
I've always loved metal of all kinds and for the most part I take it seriously. However, I do realize it's somewhat silly. Even a band like Slayer in some respects is silly. The musical content is fantastic and I'll always love it. When you add in: lyrics, hair, album covers, themes and outfits, it gets a little silly. Don't get me wrong. If I were young again and can play like I can now, I would grow out my hair, get an earring or two, wear leather pants and no shirt, and ROCK OUT WITH MY C**K OUT!!!
Thanks for replies m8s, as when I played D&D pen and paper stuff when I was younger I tend to love this kind of lyrics and themes, but well... Politics and all the serious stuff, this world have enough of them so I can get to good fantasy times to time XD... and for it's sake....!!!
