I've read about all these guitar corses such as lead guitar secrets and GuitarScaleSystem... but the websites look a bit dodgey I can't afford them, but i feel like im missing out on being a guitar god(ess). Are they really as good as they sound? |

There is no secret to guitar, it takes patience, dedication and hard work. there isn't just one secret to make you a master guitar player, don't waste your time. Just take it slow and steady |

He's right about that.
I've had uno guitar lessons in my life, and I learned a D chord, and how to restring my guitar. Everything else has been watching whatever video lessons were online for free and just pure dedication to want to get better. This site is also a big help too. If you want to get better at guitar, you will, it just takes a little time and practice. |

Just like most things in life... you won't be good at it unless you are passionate about it.
Passion outweighs skill in almost every situation. You have to want to be good in order to get good. |

I find that guitarists that are self taught develop a more unique style and sound than those that learn from lessons and such. |
